COACHING PROGRAM ~~~ IMAGINATION WORK

For the past 15 years, I’ve had a practice that involves consulting, coaching, and what I call “imagination work.”

In my work, one size does not fit all. I tailor my practice to each individual, because every person exists in a unique set of circumstances. Remember that. It’s my “mantra.” Every time I work with a client, I assess what will work for that person and what that person needs.

So now let me describe a few aspects of this work. If you’re interested in becoming a client, you can email me at: qjrconsulting at gmail.com.

Everyone wants to make breakthroughs into a more abundant life. Everyone wants to feel the rewards of such a life.

To get there, a person has to take into account a few major factors:

COMING UP WITH A DESIRED GOAL

FORMING A PLAN TO REACH THE GOAL

CARRYING OUT THE PLAN

This sounds simple, on the surface, but there are other factors that come into play—more basic issues:

USING IMAGINATION TO FULLY GRASP WHAT IS DESIRED IN LIFE

FRAMING THAT AS A GOAL

USING CREATIVE POWER TO FULFILL THE GOAL

HANDLING STRESS

Working toward a goal that doesn’t inspire you will, in the long run, drain your energy.

At the same time, you want to have practical strategies that will bring you closer to fulfilling goals.

You could summarize this as head in the stars, feet on the ground.

EVERYONE who lives a fulfilling life works that way: Head in the stars, feet on the ground.

So in coaching clients, I operate in exactly that direction: What is the highest dream of this person, how can that be set as a goal, and how can this person enact a plan to get there?

There are clients who already know precisely what they want and are moving toward fulfilling it. But they feel a gap, a blank, and that hole is “lack of imagination.” These people feel their lives are too mechanical. They want more “free energy,” more inspiration, more creative range.

In these cases, I concentrate on opening up the person’s imagination so it can be accessed. I use techniques that introduce, for example, more spontaneity.

And then there are people whose basic stumbling block is stress. So I work with them to unload that stress and relegate it to a minor position.

There are still other people who fall down when it comes to executing strategies. So I focus on that.

The world, as we ordinarily see it, is filled with problems. This is the conventional viewpoint. We try to solve those problems and push on. After a time, we become discouraged or cynical. Life is not turning out as we had hoped.

That’s because we’re living in one level of illusion. We’re buying a “portrait” of life that is false.

The whole point and effect of my work is to expose the illusion, and to build, instead, a real life that works, based on a person’s highest dreams, goals, and action strategies that actually bring about the fulfillment of these dreams and goals.

I never take my eye off the ball. I have seen, in situation after situation, that HEAD IN THE STARS, FEET ON THE GROUND is the key to a more abundant future, and every technique I employ is for achieving that future.
